Consulting
Depending on your research question, which I will help you narrow down, you may choose to do-it-yourself with my guidance. Consulting rates cover time spent on phone calls, emails, personal meetings (if local) and any research I perform for you, for example in fee-based records sets I have access to.
Standard Rate
Whether you have a specific research question, would like a family tree started or expanded, or need help turning your tree, photos and records into a story of your ancestors, start with a 10-hour package for $500 (unused time fully refundable), to get you on your way. After that you can always purchase another block of time, negotiate a larger project rate, or maybe you’ll be ready to DIY.
Add-ons
Sometimes you just need have a task you need help with, like finding a record in a local (to me) repository or taking a photo of your ancestor’s old home. Maybe you need help with Spanish language documents, or you’d like to transcribe oral histories you’ve collected. We’ll have no problem agreeing on a price.
